12 35 010 Removing and installing/replacing torsional vibration damper (electrical machine)

Special tools required: 

WARNING: High-voltage system - danger to life!

The following points must be strictly observed prior to starting work  :

Necessary preliminary work: 

Secure special tool 24 0 200 to automatic transmission (1) at marked position.

Fit automatic transmission (1) with special tool 24 0 200 to special tool 00 2 300 (assembly stand).

Place automatic transmission (2) in vertical position.

Position torsional vibration damper (4) to automatic transmission (2).

Secure special tool 2 297 313 with screw connection (1) to automatic transmission (2) and secure with nut (3) to torsional vibration damper (4).

Release screws of torsional vibration damper (3).

Remove special tool 2 297 313 .

Remove torsional vibration damper (4) upwards.

Installation note: 

Replace screws.

Observe screw-fitting sequence:

  1. Tighten screw (1 - 6) in number order.

    Tightening torque 12 35 3AZ .

Installation note: 

Clean contact surface (1) from electrical machine to torsional vibration damper.
