61 31 197 Removing/installing (replacing) center console control panel (M5 with twin-clutch gearbox)

When working on trim panel components, make sure that the sensitive surfaces are not scratched or damaged.

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Release screws (1).

Release latch mechanisms.

Remove center console operating facility (2) from center console cover (3).

Installation note: 

Latch mechanisms must not be damaged or missing.

Replacement: 

Remount ELECTROMECHANICAL PARKING BRAKE .
