51 34 380 Remove and install/replace frame trim on window frame of (outer) rear door on the left or right

Special tools required:

Do not scratch or damage visible surfaces.

Necessary preliminary work

Remove GASKET FOR DOOR GAP/ROOF FRAME
Remove COVER ON WINDOW FRAME

Pull out rubber window seal in the frame trim area on the window border (1) (graphic shows removed status).

Lever out frame trim on window border (1) from the front beginning with special tool 00 9 325 .

Carefully pull off frame trim (1) in outwards direction.

Installation note:

Replace faulty clamps (1).

Feed in the frame trim on the window frame (1) at the rear correctly behind the weather strip.
