00 00 614 Service - rear brakes

- Service - rear brakes
- Change brake pads. See REMOVING/INSTALLING REAR BRAKE PADS (TRW FLOATING CALIPER)or REMOVING/INSTALLING REAR BRAKE PADS (CARBON CERAMIC)

- Replace the brake pad wear sensor
- Clean brake air ducts
- Apply a thin coating of GREASE to wheel centering on light alloy wheels
- Brake discs: see REAR BRAKE DISCS
or REAR CARBON CERAMIC BRAKE DISCS

- Check surfaces and thickness.
- If necessary: Replace
- FUNCTION CHECK OF PARKING BRAKE with roller dynamometer
- Reset CBS DISPLAY according to factory specification
- Change brake pads. See REMOVING/INSTALLING REAR BRAKE PADS (TRW FLOATING CALIPER)or REMOVING/INSTALLING REAR BRAKE PADS (CARBON CERAMIC)

NOTE:
- Replace brake discs if they drop below minimum thickness, as well as in the event of scoring, heat cracks or thickness difference. See TECHNICAL DATA - REAR BRAKEor TECHNICAL DATA - CARBON CERAMIC REAR BRAKE .
- Issue a separate invoice for replacing the brake discs.
