33 10 053 Removing and installing/replacing temperature sensor

WARNING: Risk of burning if exhaust system is touched!
DANGER OF POISONING if oil is ingested/absorbed through the skin!
RISK OF INJURY if oil comes into contact with eyes and skin!

IMPORTANT: Have new part ready to avoid unnecessary escape of differential oil.

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Loosen temperature sensor (2) from oil sump (3).

Installation note:

Tightening torque 33 11 6AZ .

Clean rear differential.

After installation:

Check OIL LEVEL , correct if required.
