22 32 001 Replacing rubber mount for transmission mounting (ATC 35L)

Special tools required:

• 33 4 460
• 33 4 466
• 33 4 465

Necessary preliminary tasks 

• Remove complete exhaust system  . See 18 00 020 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COMPLETE EXHAUST SYSTEM (N55) or 18 00 020 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COMPLETE EXHAUST SYSTEM (N63)
• Remove transmission cross-member  . See 22 32 050 REPLACING CROSS MEMBER FOR GEARBOX MOUNT (N55)  or 22 32 050 REPLACING CROSS-MEMBER FOR TRANSMISSION MOUNTING (N63) .

For better illustration: Front propeller shaft is removed.

If necessary, release screws (1) for transmission support bracket.

Tightening torque 22 32 10AZ .

Necessary preliminary tasks 

Lower transmission with hydraulic lifting equipment.

Mount special tools 22 1 042 /22 1 041 on transfer box.

Pull out rubber mount with thrust plate 22 1 043 by means of spindle 33 4 460 and nut 22 1 017.

Installation note: 

Pay attention to installation position of rubber mount (1).

Bolt special tool 22 1 044 to transfer box.

Insert special tool 22 1 046 with bolt into recesses of rubber mount.

Draw in rubber mount with special tools 33 4 466 and 33 4 465.

Installation note: 

Auxiliary installation material - low-surface-tension water.

Do not  coat rubber mount with grease.
