51 49 000 Removing and installing/replacing bottom tailgate trim panel tailgate

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHTS

Disengage emergency release mechanism (4).

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 49 1AZ .

Release trim panel (3) from clamps (2).

Replace faulty clamps (2) on trim panel (1).

Remount sound insulation (1).

Watch for guide (2) and bracket (3).
