51 12 050 Removing and installing/replacing support for rear bumper panel

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove REAR BUMPER TRIM .

Release nut (1) from exhaust bracket on left or left and right.

Tightening torque 51 12 8AZ .

Unscrew nuts (1).

Tightening torque 51 12 1AZ .

For trailer tow hitch only:

Disconnect plug connections of trailer tow hitch.

Remove support for rear bumper trim (4).

Replacement

Release expanding rivets (2).

Modify adapter (3).
