51 47... Removing and installing/replacing damper for screen

When working on trim panel components, make sure that the sensitive surfaces are not scratched or damaged.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove SCREEN

REMOVE BALL SOCKET (1) .

Release circlip (2) and remove pin (3).

Feed damper (1) towards front/top.

Installation:

Bush (1) of lever for screen (2) must not be damaged and must be installed.

Replacement

Assemble individual parts of damper unit according to illustration.

Install slide housing from damper unit (1) on screen frame.
