64 12 673 Replacing left or right electric auxiliary heater - rear cabin

Necessary preliminary tasks

Remove driver's seat or passenger seat . See 52 14 001 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT SEAT, DRIVER'S SIDE or 52 14 002 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT SEAT, FRONT PASSENGER SIDE .

Release screws (1).

Remove cover (2).

Fold carpet (3) to one side.

Release plastic nuts (1).

Installation:

Ensure that air duct (2) is correctly seated.

Unlock and disconnect plug connections (1) on electric auxiliary heater (2).

Unlock and disconnect plug connection (3) on temperature sensor.

Completely feed out air duct (4).

Replacement:

Remove TEMPERATURE SENSOR FOR ELECTRIC AUXILIARY HEATER .
