41 12 651 Replacing Luggage Compartment Floor, Left Section (Tail Panel Or Side Wall Removed)

STRIP DOWN VEHICLE 

Following new body parts are required (refer to Electronic Parts Catalogue):

Removing luggage compartment floor on left 

Graphic shows side wall partially removed for purposes of clarity.

Mark severance cut (1) at component edge and cut.

Open welded connections in area (2).

Open welded connections in area (1).

Open welded connections in areas (1).

Remove luggage compartment floor (2).

Preparation of new part 

Mark severance cut according to vehicle + 10 mm additional material and cut (1).

Open welded connections in area (2).

Remove metal section (3).

NOTE: Weld new part in area (4) overlapping.

Installation of luggage compartment floor on left 

Install new part and weld.
