41 12 651 Replacing Left Luggage Compartment Floor Stripping Operations (Tail Panel Or Side Panel Removed)

The following list basically represents the removal sequence.

Disconnect battery negative lead (FR number: 6120600)
Remove rear left wheel well cover (FR number: 5171041)
Remove exhaust system (FR number: petrol engine 1800020, diesel engine 1800018)
Remove heat shield
Remove left luggage compartment floor trim panel (FR number: 5147101)
Remove rear left floor panel (FR number: 5147395)
Remove left luggage compartment wheel arch panel (FR number: 5147151)

Release nut/expanding rivets and remove both supports (1) for floor panels.

Release screws and lay TV module (1) to one side.

Release tank vent valve (2) and lay to one side.

Partially unclip wiring harness (3).

Remove insulating mat (4).

Unlock plugs for control units (1) and disconnect.

Release nuts for control unit holder and remove holder with control units.

Partially unclip wiring harness (2).

Unclip cover (3) and remove.

Unclip ventilation grille (4) and remove.
