67 16 011 Removing and installing/replacing left headlight vertical aim adjuster

WARNING: Version with xenon headlights: Danger to life due to high voltage!

Therefore disconnect all components from voltage supply before removal.

Work on the entire xenon lighting system (control unit, ignition unit with lamp) may only be carried out by specialist personnel.

Necessary preliminary tasks 

Cut out headlight aim adjuster cover (1) along the dashed line and remove.

Loosen (1 and 2).

Disconnect plug connection (3).

Unlock bayonet fitting on headlight vertical aim adjuster (4) by turning anticlockwise.

Unsnap ball head (5) from socket (6) via opening (2).

Installation: 

Swing light unit (1) downwards.

Snap headlight aim adjuster in socket (2).

Ball head (1) must be correctly latched in socket (2).

Lock headlight aim adjuster.
