67 32 600 Replacing fans for seat surface on front seat

Necessary preliminary tasks

Partially remove seat cover for driver's or front passenger seat . See 52 17 402 REPLACING SEAT COVER FOR DRIVER'S SEAT (COMFORT) or 52 17 403 REPLACING SEAT COVER FOR PASSENGER SEAT (COMFORT) (FROM 09/09) .
ECE version:
If necessary, remove SENSOR MAT (SEAT OCCUPANCY MAT) .
US version:
If applicable, remove the Sensor mat (OC3-mat) or. SENSOR MAT (CIS MAT) .

Unfasten plug connection.

Installation note:

Make sure fans have correct cable routing (1).

NOTE: For purposes of clarity, picture shows seat cushion and seat cover removed.

Raise separating net (1).

Pull faulty fans (2) out of seat cushion slightly and disconnect plug connections behind.

Carry out FUNCTION CHECK WITH ADAPTER CABLE .
