54 13 046 Removing and installing/replacing panorama glass roof roller sunblind

Necessary preliminary work

Remove FRONT SECTION OF PANORAMA GLASS ROOF

NOTE: The right side is removed in the same way as the left side.

Move roller sunblind into fully opened position.

If drive is faulty: by way of emergency actuation with offset hexagon socket.

Release screws (1).

Pull holder (2) upwards out of guide and remove rearwards.

Installation note:

Align arrows of holder and guide.

Tighten down screws.

Pull rising cable with guide tube (1) rearwards out of rail until roller sunblind bow (2) is exposed.

Remove roller sunblind bow (2) towards top from driver.

Installation note:

Make sure rubber roller sunblind bow (1) is correctly seated on driver (1).
