51 13 116 Removing and installing/replacing cowl panel cover

Necessary preliminary tasks

Remove BOTH WINDSCREEN WIPER ARMS .

Lever out expander rivets (1) on cover (2) on left/right.

Remove cover (2) on left / right.

Installation:

If necessary, replace damaged expander rivets.

Make sure holders (3) are correctly seated.

Lever out expanding rivets (1) under cover (2) on left and right.

Carefully unclip cowl panel cover(1) at marked locations.

Remove cowl panel cover (1).

Installation:

Retaining clips (2) for rivets must be located at marked locations in cowl panel body.

Replace damaged retaining clips (2).
