51 71 480 Removing and installing/replacing cross reinforcement (on rear axle)

Necessary preliminary tasks

Remove TRAILING LINKS ON LEFT AND RIGHT .
RELEASE REAR SILENCER and lower slightly.

Release nuts of heat shield (3) and lower heat shield (3).

Unscrew nuts (1).

Tightening torque 51 61 14AZ .

Unfasten screws (2).

Tightening torque 51 61 13AZ .

Remove cross reinforcement (4).
