11 65 180 Removing and installing/renewing heat shield at top (N63)

Necessary preliminary work 

Release screws (1).

Lift out holder.

Release screw (2).

Tightening torque 11 65 3AZ .

Release screw (2).

Tightening torque 11 65 3AZ .

Release retaining clip (1).

Detach wire ring (2) and set down behind oxygen sensor.

Release retaining clip (1).

Detach wire ring (2) and set down behind oxygen sensor.

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 11 65 3AZ .

NOTE: For purposes of clarity, the graphic shows the oxygen sensor removed.

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 11 65 3AZ .

Lift out heat shield.

Assemble engine.
