13 71 030 Removing and installing/replacing both intake silencer housings (N63 B40/B44 O 0/1)

Necessary preliminary tasks

Switch off ignition.
Remove ACOUSTIC COVER .

NOTE: Description for left air filter box. Procedure on right side identical.

Release clamps (1).

Tightening torque 13 62 9AZ.

Unfasten connector (2) on hot film air mass meter and disconnect.

Release clamp (3).

Unclip the oxygen sensor cable from the intake filter housing.

Detach intake air filter housing from intake port, pull off upwards and remove.
