11 13 020 Removing and installing/replacing lower oil sump section (N63)

Necessary preliminary work 

Unlock plug connection (1) on oil level sensor and disconnect.

Release screws (2) along line.

Tightening torque 11 13 3AZ .

Remove lower oil sump section (3).

Installation note:

Clean sealing surfaces.

Replace gasket.

Replace screws.

When replacing lower oil sump section:

Convert oil level sensor.

Replace sealing ring.

NOTE: Procedure with four-wheel drive.

Unlock plug connection (1) on oil level sensor and disconnect.

Release screws (2) along line.

Tightening torque 11 13 3AZ .

Remove lower oil sump section (3).

Installation note: 

Clean sealing surfaces.

Replace gasket.

Replace screws.

When replacing lower oil sump section:

Convert oil level sensor.

Replace sealing ring.
