64 11 823 Replacing servodrive for right rear cabin air blending flap

Necessary preliminary tasks 

• Remove RIGHT GLOVEBOX WITH HOUSING .

Position of actuator drive: 

OVERVIEW OF ACTUATOR DRIVES ON HEATER/AIR CONDITIONER 

Release screw (1).

Unfasten screws (2).

Installation: 

Replace screws (2).

Take off holder (3).

Unclip connector piece (1) and slide downwards.

Installation: 

Latching of connector piece (1) must be felt.

Release screws (1).

Remove air vent duct (2).

Installation: 

Ensure cable routing along air vent duct (2) is correct

Release screws (1).

Remove servodrive (2) and unlock and disconnect associated plug connection.

Replacement: 

Servomotors must be re-addressed in the event of replacement!

Addressing can only be carried out with the BMW diagnosis system.

• Re-address flap motors
