11 65 185 Removing and Installing/Replacing Heat Shield At Bottom (N63O1)

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Remove Both Exhaust Turbochargers. See RIGHT TURBO (CYLINDERS 1-4) and LEFT TURBO (CYLINDERS 5-8) .
Remove Both Exhaust Manifolds. See LEFT EXHAUST MANIFOLD and RIGHT EXHAUST MANIFOLD .
Remove ALTERNATOR .

Release Vacuum Line (1) From Retaining Clip (2).

Release Screws (1).

Tightening torque 11 65 5AZ .

Remove Heat Shield (2) Towards Top.

Release Screws (1).

Tightening torque 11 65 6AZ .

Remove Heat Shield (2).

Assemble Engine.
