11 15 002 Replacing Engine Crankcase Ventilation Line for Cylinders 1-4

Necessary Preliminary Tasks: 

• Disconnect BATTERY EARTH LEAD .
• Remove AIR INTAKE SILENCER HOUSING On Right Side
• Remove INTAKE PORT .

Release Screws (1).

Tightening torque 12 90 2AZ .

Remove Electronics Box Cover (2).

Unclip Grommet Hold-Down Device (1) and Remove.

Unlock All Connectors (1) From Control Unit and Disconnect.

Detach Rubber Grommets (2) From Electronics Box.

Place Wiring Harnesses To The Side.

Installation Note: 

Make Sure Grommets Are Correctly Seated (Watertightness).

Slacken Nut (1).

Tightening torque 12 51 1AZ .

Detach Earthing Cable (2).

Release Screw (1).

Lay Filler Neck (2) for Windscreen Washer Fluid To One Side.

Release Screws (1).

Tightening torque 12 90 1AZ .

Unclip Coolant Lines At Clamp (2) From Electronics Box.

Carefully Feed Out The Electronics Box (1) Complete with Control Unit Upwards and Place To One Side.

Installation Note: 

When Installing The Electronics Box (1), Insert Guide (3) On Engine Support.

Release Clamp (1).

Tightening torque 13 71 8AZ .

Bend The Charge Air Pipe (2) Slightly To The Side.

Check The Gasket On The Exhaust Turbocharger.

Replacing If Necessary.

Version 1: 

1. Unlock The Retainer.
2. Pull Off The Retainer Together with the Line.

Version 2: 

Pull The Line (1) Gently In The Direction Indicated By The Arrow.

At The Same Time, Use A Screwdriver (3) To Unlock The Latch Mechanisms (2) One After The Other.

Pull The Connecting Line Off The Clean Air Pipe and Engine Crankcase Ventilation Line.

Release Screw (1).

Tightening torque 13 71 1AZ .

Pull Clean Air Pipe (2) From Exhaust Turbocharger.

Release Screws (1).

Remove Oil Filler Neck.

1. Unlock The Retainer.
2. Pull Off The Retainer Together with the Line.

Version 1: 

1. Unlock The Retainer.
2. Pull Off The Retainer Together with the Line.

Pull The Line (1) Gently In The Direction Indicated By The Arrow.

Lift The Engine Wiring Harness (2) Slightly and Remove The Crankcase Ventilation Line.
