Fault description
Diagnosis monitors communication between the instrument cluster and the DME with regard to ambient temperature.
The fault is detected when the outside temperature sensor in the instrument panel has a short to ground.
Possible fault cause:
- Wiring harness, outside temperature sensor defective
- Outside temperature defective
