Action in service
- Check wiring harness between electromotive throttle controller and DME.
- Activate the throttle valve with the diagnosis tester and observe how it reacts.
- Check throttle valve for dirt contamination.
- Move throttle valve by hand and check for stiff movement. Check operation and spring action of the throttle valve return spring.
- Replace the electromotive throttle actuator.
