Action in service

Secondary faults: If additional faults are entered for the following components, these must be processed first:

• Oxygen sensor before catalytic converter.
• Hot film air mass meter.
• Intake pipe vacuum sensor.
• Intake air temperature sensor.
• Electromotive throttle controller.
• Tank vent valve.
• Camshaft sensor.
• High-pressure fuel system.
• Low pressure fuel system.

Check differentiated air intake system after exhaust turbocharger for leaks, checking the following components in the process:

• Crankcase ventilation.
• Oil filler cap.
• Oil dipstick.
• Tank ventilation system.
• Brake servo.
• Cylinder head cover.

Check exhaust system for leaks.

Replace injectors.
