Condition for fault identification

Temperature related-precondition:

• Cold start: Coolant temperature is lower than the limit value: 30 deg C
• Difference between coolant temperature and intake air temperature downstream of the engine not greater than the limit value: 9.75 °C
• Coolant temperature over limit value when engine is stopped: 59.25 deg C
• Cutout time greater than limit value: 28800 s

Time related-precondition:

• 10 minutes after engine start.

Other preconditions:

Diagnoses for coolant temperature and intake air temperature must have been completed.

Control unit voltage: 9 V to 16 V.
