Condition for fault identification

Temperature precondition:

• Shut down engine while it is hot.
• After shutdown, the coolant temperature must be higher than or equal to 80.25 °C and then fall to below 39.75 °C.
• Additionally the difference in coolant temperature must exceed 39.75 °C.

Time precondition:

• 21 s after engine start.

Other preconditions:

• Cold start.

Control unit voltage: 9 V to 16 V.
