11 61 365 Removing and installing/replacing left-hand charge air duct (N20, N26)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

  1. Unlocked
  2. Locked

Installation note: 

Ensure locking clamps are correctly fitted.

Lock must engage.

Unclip line (1).

Unfasten plug connection (2) and disconnect.

Unlock snap fastener (3) and pull charge-air duct from throttle body.

Unlock tank ventilation line (4) underneath and disconnect.

Unlock snap fastener (1) and remove the charge-air duct.

Installation note: 

Visually inspect the form sealing ring (1) for correct position and damage.

VDA couplings are correctly fitted when they snap into place with an audible click.

Assemble engine.
