13 71 000 Removing and installing/replacing the intake silencer housing (N20, N26)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Switch off ignition.

Release connector (1) on hot film air mass meter and disconnect.

Release clamp (2).

Tightening torque: 13 71 1AZ .

Unclip Bowden cable (2) from intake silencer housing.

Pull off intake filter housing (3) upward out of the rubber mounts (1) and remove.

Reassemble the vehicle.
