63 21 055 Replacing a socket housing for left or right rear light

WARNING: Follow instructions for HANDLING LIGHT BULBS (EXTERIOR LIGHTS) .

Unlock side cover (1) and remove in direction of arrow.

Remove side cover (2) in direction of arrow.

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage to the contact ring (2) on rear light (3).
Carefully pull the socket housing (1) out of the contact ring (2) on the rear light (3).
If necessary, grip at contact ring (2).

Carefully pull the socket housing (1-3) out of the rear light (4).

NOTE:

Socket housing for brake light
Socket housing for reversing light
Socket housing for brake light/rear fog light

Replacement:

If necessary, remount BULBS .
