65 12 230 Removing and installing (replacing) DAB tuner

NOTE: Follow instructions for HANDLING OPTICAL FIBRES .

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Clamp off BATTERY NEGATIVE LEAD
Remove LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM ON LEFT SIDE PANEL

Lever out expansion rivets (1).

Feed out storage compartment (2) towards top.

Unscrew nuts (1).

Raise DAB tuner including bracket (2).

Unlock and disconnect associated plug connections (3).

Feed out DAB tuner including bracket (2).

Replacement:

Release screws (1).

Remove bracket (2) from DAB tuner.

Replacement:

Carry out VEHICLE PROGRAMMING/CODING .
