51 33 000 Removing and installing/replacing power window regulator in left or right front door

Special tools required:

51 3 300

WARNING: Risk of injury!
Carry out work on the power window regulator only when the power window motor is de-energized.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove DOOR WINDOW GLASS

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 21 16AZ .

Remove adapter for door speaker (2).

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 21 17AZ .

Remove power window regulator flat motor (2) from door (3).

Unlock and disconnect plug connection (1) from power window regulator flat motor (2).

Lever out assembly plug (1).

Unfasten screws (2).

Tightening torque 51 33 4AZ .

Release screw (3) with special tool 51 3 300 .

Tightening torque 51 33 4AZ .

Remove power window regulator (4).

Installation:

Engage drive cable (1) correctly in clips (2).

Adjust POWER WINDOW REGULATOR .

Replacement

Release screws (3).

Tightening torque 67 62 1AZ .

Detach power window regulator flat motor (2) from power window regulator adapter plate (4).

Installation:

INITIALIZE POWER WINDOW .
