61 67 100 Removing and installing/replacing high-pressure nozzle of headlight cleaning system on left (or right)

Special tools required: 

Necessary preliminary tasks 

Use special tool 00 9 340 to lift the cover (1).

Slowly pull out high-pressure nozzle of headlight washer system (1) at cover (2).

Unclip cover (2) in direction of arrow and remove.

Allow high-pressure nozzle of headlight washer system (1) to slide back slowly.

To prevent excessive escape of washer fluid, seal off end of high pressure line with special tool 13 3 010 .

Catch any escaping washer fluid if necessary.

Raise retaining bracket (1) and detach high-pressure line (2) in direction of arrow from high-pressure nozzle of headlight washer system (4).

Raise retaining lugs (3) in direction of arrow and feed high-pressure nozzle of headlight washer system (4) towards rear out of front side panel.

Installation note: 

Keep plug connection for high-pressure nozzle (4) and high-pressure line (2) clean and free from grease.

Make sure high-pressure line (2) is correctly engaged on high-pressure nozzle (4) and high-pressure nozzle (4) correctly seated on front side panel respectively.

Carry out a function test before fitting bumper trim.

If necessary, top up washer fluid.
