51 11 156 Removing and installing front bumper trim (up to 03/2010)

IMPORTANT: Risk of mixing up
Different screws fitted.

Release screws (1).

Loosen screws (1) on the right and left of the wheel arch cover (2).

Installation note:

Make sure wheel arch cover (2) is in correct position.

Unclip bumper trim (1) at side of latch mechanism (2).

IMPORTANT: Do not damage bumper trim when pulling off.

Loosen the bumper trim (1) at the latch mechanisms (2).

Pull bumper trim (1) with a second person helping towards front slightly, (if necessary, disconnect the plug connection for Park Distance Control (PDC) in area (3).

If necessary, disconnect the plug connection for the SIDE VIEW camera left and right).

Remove bumper trim (1) towards front with aid of a 2nd person.

Installation note:

Height adjustment, refer to 41 00... BODY GAP DIMENSIONS .
