51 31 221 Replacing rear window (rear window broken)

Operation is described in 

Removing and installing rear window, refer to 51 31 200 .

Remove all glass splinters, also from underneath seats.

Check seat belts:

Condition of seatbelt strap

Operation of retractor mechanism

• Check seat belt locking reel and
• seat belt buckle.
