NOTE: On vehicles with a production date up to 07/2012 , during installation of a new soft top the line for the hall effect sensor or the rear left must be retrofitted.

Necessary preliminary work:

REMOVE TRIM PANEL FOR PASSENGER COMPARTMENT PARTITION WALL .

NOTE: Pin housing (1) of new soft top is 4-pin.

Unpin bush contacts from 2-pine socket housing (2) with special tool 61 0 326 .

CRIMP and pin lines (4) as follows:

Also pin lines unpinned in previous work operation:		blue/green (connector X13039 Pin 34)	fitted	2
Also pin lines unpinned in previous work operation:		Blue/Red (connector X13039 Pin 26)	fitted	1

Connect pin housing (2) of cable (1) to socket housing (3).
Route lines (4) as shown by arrows up to pin housing (5) and secure sufficiently.
Connect socket housing (6) to pin housing (5).
Perform "Conversion CTM - new sensor 'roof package stowed', left" over ISTA/P.
