Fault description

Diagnosis monitors the electrical connection between DME and the exhaust VANOS solenoid valve 2.

The fault is detected when there is a short to ground.

Possible fault cause:

• There is a short to ground on the line from the DME to the exhaust VANOS solenoid valve 2.
