Fault description
Diagnosis monitors the adaptation values of the intake camshaft.
The fault is detected when the adaptation value shifts by more than 17° crankshaft angle, corresponding to one tooth.
Possible cause of fault:
- Incorrect timing
- VANOS defective
- Adaptation values taught-in incorrectly
