Fault description

The teeth and tooth gaps on the incremental wheel are subject to tolerances. Diagnosis detects these deviations and corrects them.

Adaptation takes place in the overrun phases. The fault is detected when the deviations can no longer be adapted.

Possible fault cause:

• Crankshaft sensor defective
• Increment wheel defective
