Fault description

Diagnosis monitors whether the synchronization gap is detected in the correct position.

The fault is detected when the synchronization gap is not at all detected or is detected in the wrong position.

Possible cause of fault:

• Electromagnetic disturbance
• Wiring harness defective
• Crankshaft sensor defective
• Increment wheel defective
