Fault description

Diagnosis monitors the internal resistance of the oxygen sensor 2 after catalytic converter.

The fault is detected when the internal resistance of the oxygen sensor 2 after catalytic converter is greater than 5000 Ohm.

Possible cause of fault:

• Contact resistance in connector of oxygen sensor
• Oxygen sensor after catalytic converter cooled down too much due to external influence (e.g. icing)
• Wiring harness of oxygen sensor after catalytic converter defective
• Oxygen sensor after catalytic converter defective (heater defective)
