Fault description

The active test is triggered after a trim controller fault. Diagnosis monitors the deviation of ACTUAL lambda from the TARGET value during open-loop lambda control

The fault is detected when the measured lambda value is too lean by more than 0.09 compared to the TARGET value.

Possible cause of fault:

Sensor contamination, sensor leaking, short to positive or ground.
