Fault description

Diagnosis monitors whether the values of the signal from the charge air temperature sensor, cylinder bank 2, is too high.

The fault is detected when the charge air temperature is at least 24 K above the coolant temperature and the ambient temperature is close to the coolant temperature.

Possible fault cause:

• Manipulation of sensor signal, shunt at sensor
