64 11 868 Removing and installing/replacing actuator drive for defrosting flap

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove ACTUATOR DRIVE FOR VENTILATION FLAP, RIGHT

NOTE: For purposes of clarity, illustration shows removed heating and air-conditioning unit.

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Unfasten screws (2).

Remove actuator drive (3).

Installation note:

Ensure that the actuator drive (3) is correctly seated at the marked locations in the guides.

IMPORTANT: Servomotors must be readdressed in the event of replacement!
Addressing can only be carried out with the BMW diagnosis system.
