13 62 622 Removing and refitting/replacing nitrogen oxide sensor downstream of SCR catalytic converter (N47 D20 O 1 with SCR)

Special tools required: 

WARNING: Risk of burning!
Only perform this repair work on an engine that has cooled down.

Necessary preliminary work: 

Detach nitrogen oxide sensor (2) and remove from exhaust system.

Tightening torque 13 62 8AZ .

Unlock connector (1) and pull off.

Unscrew nuts (2).

Tightening torque 13 62 13AZ .

Maneuver out nitrogen oxide sensor and control unit for nitrogen oxide sensor and remove.

After the repair work has been completed:

Use the BMW Diagnosis System to perform the SCR adjustment.

Installation note: 

Check stored error/fault messages.

Clear diagnostic fault entries from fault memory.
