51 32 160 Removing and installing/replacing inner cover on left or right window frame

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Open side window if necessary
Remove FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL

F30/F31/F35/F80 only:

Remove inner WEATHER STRIP

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage!
Cover (2) must not be kinked.

Lever out cover (2) at clamps (3).

Unclamp cover (2) in direction of arrow and remove.

Installation note:

Fixtures for clamps (3) on cover (2) must not be missing or damaged.

Installation note:

Make sure cover (1) is correctly seated in joint of rubber window seal (2).

Make sure cover (1) is correctly seated on door seal.
