61 35 196 Removing and installing (replacing) control unit for automatic operation of tailgate system: Notes

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Replacement: observe notes on REPLACING THE CONTROL UNIT .
Disconnect BATTERY CABLE FROM NEGATIVE TERMINAL

Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.

Release catches (2).

Pull control unit (3) out of holder (4).

Replacement:

Carry out VEHICLE PROGRAMMING/CODING .
