52 25 049 Replacing lumbar support on left or right rear seat

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove MASSAGE MAT

Detach air hoses from solenoid valve.

NOTE: Heat air hoses gently if they are too firmly seated on solenoid valve.

Remove clamps (1) at top left and right.

Detach lumbar support (1) from spring wire (2).

Installation note:

Engage lumbar support on fifth spring wire from below.

Air hoses must be laid without kinks.

Check lumbar support for damage.

Run a function check.
