51 12 156 Removing and installing (replacing) rear bumper panel: Removing

Starting from the outside, carefully snap out the individual guide tabs on left and right

Pull bumper panel (1) straight towards rear with aid of a 2nd person
If necessary, disconnect plug connections
Remove the bumper panel (1)

Installation note:

PROTECTIVE FILM FOR PREVENTING PAINT ABRASION in the area of the invisible joint (side frame) must not de damaged or missing.

Guide tabs at top and bottom must not be damaged!

Observe BODY GAP DIMENSIONS .
